HELI4RESCUE

The content of the project was to assess the possibility of using air transport systems, mainly vertical take-off and landing (VTOL), for the last mile transport of heavy loads during emergency/crisis situations.

Coordinated by Fraunhofer IML, more than 40 active experts from 13 countries were involved including civil protection and security users, other actors in crisis response and post-crisis restoration, facilitators of air transport operations as well as aircraft/airship manufacturers.
