Land Transport

Whether via train or via truck, land transportation is always needed as pre- or on-carriage for ocean and air freight. For transports within Europe, land freight is generally the most economical solution. The biggest advantage of land transportation is the comprehensive network. There is not many places that you cannot reach with a truck. The unbeatable flexibility also applies for time schedules and types of goods that can be transported. The disadvantages are clear: besides possible delays due to traffic jam or bad weather, quantity and size of goods are limited in comparison to sea freight.

At HLO we use land transportation for pre- and on-carriage of air and sea freight as well as for standalone transportation within Europe.
